First of the Month #FF Shout Out - Carol Roth

I don't know if you are like me - but I don't particularly like reading books. I usually start them and then when I don't finish them I feel guilty about it. Self-help, how-to and so on just seem to say to me "stop reading about it and just do it". Well that was until I read two books recently - "Bossypants" by Tina Fey (okay maybe not a guide to financial success but I was on a roll here and it's a great read) and "The Entrepreneur Equation" by today's #FF Shout Out Carol Roth.

Carol's "no nonsense" approach to the realities of becoming and more importantly staying an entrepreneur truly has me engaged - so much so that I am actually finding myself re-reading passages and chapters to ensure that I'm getting what she is trying to say. It is an easy read and definitely a resource guide to making you think clearly about your motivations on becoming an entrepreneur and what you have to do to ensure you stay one.

But her book is only one reason why I asked her to join my host/producer @DonnaPapacosta in this month's Tweep in Profile podcast series adding her name and insight to my existing "thought leaders" from the Twitter community. I've followed her for sometime and taken away so much from her experience in business that it has helped me in how I am formulating existing and future business operations here (and since I bought the book I feel we are almost even Carol). :)
